Responsibilities
- Vendor Management: Build and maintain relationships with IT suppliers and negotiate favorable terms and conditions.
- Cost Optimization: Analyze procurement data to identify cost-saving opportunities and implement cost-effective purchasing strategies.
- Procurement Strategy: Develop and execute a comprehensive IT procurement strategy aligned with the company’s goals.
- Contract Management: Review, negotiate, and manage IT contracts, ensuring compliance and efficiency.
- Inventory Control: Oversee IT inventory, including tracking and maintaining stock levels to meet business needs.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure that IT products and services meet quality standards and specifications.
- Compliance: Stay up-to-date with relevant regulations and ensure procurement activities adhere to legal requirements and ethical standards.
- Reporting: Generate reports and provide insights to support decision-making processes.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.
- Proven experience in IT procurement with a deep understanding of IT hardware and software.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Proficiency in procurement software and tools
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
